Heyy...Okay I don't know what to say to this boy, let's call him Cody. Well I thought I really liked Cody and he asked me out so I said yes, because of course I thought I really liked him and it would work. Well for the first few days it was cool and then we went shopping and he bought me something really expensive for Christmas but I didn't know what it was. After a while in school he seemed to be very clingy, obsessive and over protective of me. Also, people in school told me he pressured his girlfriends into a lot of stuff when they weren't ready! I got kind of scared because I didn't know what I was ready to do with him. Well for Christmas I opened his gift and he got me a diamond ring OMG! I flipped out...I mean yeah it was gorgeous and he spent $170 on it but seriously we were going out for a week or not even that and it was too much. It started to scare me a tinsy bit. I was thinking about dumping him, I mean I liked him but just not enough to be able to accept the ring without feeling strange. I was going to do it the day after Christmas. Well on Christmas he called me and was drunk and I just got really mad. Me and my friend planned something out so that it wouldn't be mean when I dumped him. I told him I got grounded because of my grades and also my grandmother died and I said it wasn't the best time to have a bf. Well I did that on Christmas and I feel really.... bad! I don't know what to do I think I hurt him...it's just I don't want to date him anymore....Anyone know how to deal with this?

You may hurt a little bit but you will get through it. Right now the best thing you coudl do is to just be with your friends! Hope I helped!
