Question Posted Monday December 27 2004, 8:23 pm

is it normal for a 13/m to all of the sudden get a searing anger that he squeezes his fists and tightens his jaw so as not to do something drastic?

because thats been happening a couple times a day to me lately. is it normal? it happens for about 2 seconds then goes away. thank you.

i dont get it at particular things, just randomly, like 3 times in a day..

yes, its probably hormones. at 13 u go through changes (such as growth) which can make you feel angry or ect. it is comepletely normal

That used to happen to me. I say tell your parents and tell them you need anger managment. I didnt tell anyone and i ended up beating my brother with a crobar, scary i know. But finally after that i got help and things seem to be going well now._Steven

Sometimes, absolutely it is. But a couple times a day?? Thats a bit much. Think about what angers you..talk to a guidance couselor. They are there to listen! I think all you need is someone to listen to you. Express ur feelings..you`ll be fine
