Coping

Question Posted Wednesday December 22 2004, 8:27 pm

Okey, I have a friend, lets just call him "Billy". Okey, so Billy and his parents were heading down to FL for winter break. Well, they got into a car accident and his parent got killed and he was in the hospital. Everyone at school will be talking about it, and I dont like that because they shouldnt be getting in his buisness. I wanna apologize to him and give him a present, but I'm afraid that he'll feel worse about it and I'll be like those other people who are talking about it. How can I help him cope without being a burden?

PS. u seem cool, wanna be buds?

wow, u seem like a really good friend. just be sincere about things and let him know that u share his sorrow, and also let him know he has a friend named nicole *points to u* that loves him lots. i don't think a present would be the right thing for this situation...maybe...a big hug instead?
good question and good luck,
-Kyle :D
