What is freshmen??? is it sumink American or what cos i herd it in sum messages but i dunno what it means.

Yah..like in high school theres freshmen (*9th grade) sophmores (*10th grade) juniors (*11th grade) and then seniors (12th grade) so when you say I'm a freshmen..it means you're in 9th grade..I guess its an american thing..I dn if they say it in other countries
