bellybutton piercing..
Okay, does anybody know for sure how old you have to be to get your bellybutton pierced in Oregon? And how much does it cost? My parents won't let me get it done so i have to be old enough to get it without their permission because they think it will get infected. But if i were to do it by myself, what do i have to do or buy to make sure it doesn't get infected? thanks

you can be any age but you have to have a parent....you cant get it by yourself.....in california you can if you go down to venice beach or something but in oregon i dont think you can because most places make you have a parent incase you sue them...try talking to your parents...or make a deal with them...say if you get straight A's next report card can you get it pierced or something....and tell them if it gets infected youll take it out but they dont know it will get infected unless they let you try....and for what you have to buy to make sure it doesnt get infeected./...when you get it pierced it comes with the cleaning medication...mine came with dial soap and this purple box called Dr Piercings.....they work great mines isnt infected @ all...so just try talking to them

any age with your parents consent. unless your 18 or older. it costs around 30 dollars. yea, so you have to wait till your 18 to get it done. D0 N0T D0 iT BY Y0URSLEF!!! trust me, it kills and it will get infected most likely. well if you really want to do it by yourself and have your parents bitch at you, okay, buy antibacterial soap and just on you fingers run it under water and just rub it around the hole like twice a day and move the ring/barbell thing around too. if you go to the mall you can find really cute bellie rings but for the first one dont buy a really good one buy something small with no diamonds or studs in it. x0

Hey I got my belly button pierced during the summer and you have to be 18 in order to get it done without your parent's permission! All together, my belly button piercing cost $75 and that included the ring, the actually piercing, and the aftercare items! Don't do it yourself! I did it before I got mine professionally done and I popped a blood vessel and it got infected! I used antibacterial liquid to clean the ring and my belly button and it still got infected! I pierced mine with a needle but trust me, DO NOT pierce it by yourself! You have to wait until you're 18 to do it! Hope I helped :)

I don't live in Oregon, so I don't really know, but since noone else answered your question, I'll try to help. In NC depending what city you have to be anywhere from 16-18, same with NY. So try it when you're 16, and if that doesn't work, and you don't want to wait until you're 18, then get a fake ID!!! No, just kidding, don't do that. Usually doctors will do the piercing, that's where me and my sister got our piercings, and her belly button ring was just fine. Try calling the doctors and see if they will pierce it. Plus if the doctor does it, your mom will probably lighten up and maybe let you do it.
