Question Posted Saturday December 11 2004, 6:37 pm
okay so my best friend and i have been friends for about 3 years and he always seemed to be happy, until mid-way through last year. he started getting really depressed. i can always tell when hes down b/c he'll start saying things to me like i love my Colleen, and so ill ask him about it and we will talk it out and he seems to be okay after that. but recently he has been really down. he will put up away messages and that say "gone to lookout rock, not that anyone would care. dont expect me to be back soon" and those really scare me. ive told him how i feel about it and how it scares me but all he can say is "dont take it seriously"...what should i do? do i take him seriously? or let this go by and try 2 talk to him and help him?(( i also dont want to end up having something really bad happen on my part b/c i cared too much...if thats possible))any advice??
Thanx,
Colleen

Do you have a boyfriend or another guy that you could be kinda close to, other than him? See, I think what he might be doing is trying to get close to you, but he might be shy. I dunno, but from this, I got the vibes that he liked you. He wouldnt suddenly become depressed for no reason; sometimes when a guy likes a girl and theyre not sure if they like him back, he can get very depressed. Trust me, I'm very much like that.
