I have an awsome ink pen, it's a "Higgins", or at least that's what the ink that came with it is called.
Now, by the fact that you said your ink pen ran out, I'm sure you didn't want to know about a dipping ink pen, but they're incredubly nice to work with. It takes some practice, but you can do so much more with them than a normal ball point pen. The pen's are very cheap, under a dollar at my college store, where you have to spend $2.00 on a candy bar. And the ink is not much more expensive, perhaps $1-$2. There are art supply store's everywhere, find one in your area and go search around. Even though you don't have a lot of money now, you could get idea's for later, when you do have money.
Oh oh, I also wanted to mention: if you use my idea and get some ink and a dipping pen, you can take a paintbrush and use the ink to create some really bold, smooth darkest of dark lines, blotches, shapes, etc. The ink that you buy with the pen is blacker than any normal ball-point pen out there. Trust me, you'll notice a big difference if you put the two colors right next to each other. [ selectopaque's advice column | Ask selectopaque A Question ]
