Siren_Cytherea answered Sunday December 5 2004, 3:49 pm: When I started birth control, I spotted for a month solid, and THEN had my period on top of it, and I'm normal, and the pill works. Spotting is one of the side effects, but you know that already. If it doesn't stop after a month, I'd suggest you ask your doctor about switching to a different pill. I take Yasmin 28, but I have friends who couldn't take that. Different pills work differently for different people. Lol it's true. Talk to your doctor about what's going on, and ask him if you should switch pills. What my gyno told me when I went on it was that sometimes the side effects can last for 3 months, but if they last any longer, he needs to give me a different pill. So yeah. You should tell your doctor what's going on. Hope this helps!

NEVERLETG00 answered Saturday December 4 2004, 11:41 pm: well for me, i wouldn't go on to seasonale 'cuz i dont think its right to have your period only 4 times a year, but thats just me
but its normal to have breakthrough bleeding within a few months of first taking birth control, if it happens after 5 months then go to your doctor and try something else. [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]
pimpettex answered Saturday December 4 2004, 11:10 pm: Well I've heard that type of birth control makes you bleed sometimes between periods. But I haven't heard that it should mess with anything else, so I think you should probably call your doctor but I doubt there's anything really wrong. The worst that'll probably happen is that he'll have u go on regular birth control. Good luck hun. [ pimpettex's advice column | Ask pimpettex A Question ]
