braces / does it hurt when they tighten them.
hey i am a girl and i am totally freaking over my braces i am going to be getting i don't know what colors to get and all of my friends tell me it hurts when they tighten them does it really hurt?
i need some good advice quick o yeah tell some colors 2 (I AM A GIRL) thanks i rate high .

i have braces and i got mine tightened on thursday and ive only had mine since august of this year if you are just gettin them then they are just very uncomfotable and for the first week or two you wont be able to eat alot but after you get used to them they dont hurt but i got my tightened on thursday and they are alredy not sore. after the fist couple tightenings they really dont fell uncomfortable unless your orthidontist puts in a really thick wire then it may hurt for a couple of days but i havnt gotten a really thick wire in yet so i dont know how it feels sry but for colors you should just get colors you like right now i have hot pink and neon green but it just depends on what colors you like or u could do holiday colors it just depends hope i helped

Ok. It hurts a little bit when they tighten them but the longer you have the braces it doesnt hurt as much.Like I have had braces for 3 years and it hurt alot at first but after like 2 or 3 days it wont hurt that much anymore. Maybe you could try a blue or a red.

Yes, it hurts when the orthodontist tightens your braces.It hurts for about a day or two. It's not a big deal. Plenty of kids get braces and you aren't going to be the only one at school with them. I had pink and green braces for awhile. Then I had clear. They have a little color pallet for you when they put on your braces. Then you just pick one or two colors, and they'll put them on. I promise, braces aren't that bad. You get used to them.

i have had braces for a realy long time and you get used to them after a while. at first it will hurt but not as much as everyone says it will. when they tighten them it hurts like the first couple of times you get them tightened but you learn to live with it. i like the color combo's of pink and yellow or pink and blue.

Hey i have braces!It doesnt hurt when u get them on but it does hurt like a day after.So when u get your braces on take a tylenol to reduce the pain.For 2 color i would pick hot pink and light pink.Those 2 colors look really cute!I got those my first time!Good luck babe!

yeah,it does hurt, but uit is so worth it! your teeth look so good when they are done! and yah it hurts. but make sure that you brush you teeth alot or else you'll have spots, and when you first get them on it tastes funny, and you cant eat solid foods. I took advil, and it was easier, but i mean i couldnt chew gum.

Yea it does hurt when they put them on but you'll be happy in the end! and two colors that are cute are pink and white together!
