my friend picked her bf over me

Question Posted Wednesday December 1 2004, 10:37 pm

I have a friend who is dating an AWFUL guy. He's cheated on her, talked badly about her, but whenever he's near her he puts up this stupid act and she totally falls for it. I told her what hes done and she told me that I was a liar! I don't want her to be devastated when she finally realizes what kind of guy he is, but she won't talk to me now, because shes convinced that I'm trying to get him! I don't know what to do!

Wow. It looks like she's in over her head.. I don't think there's much you can do. You tried your hardest and if shes going to refuse to believe you, then as hard as it may be, you're going to have to sit back and let her make her own mistakes. Just try not to hold a grudge and be there for her when she needs you most. Eventually, she'll realise that you were right and apologize.
