Question Posted Monday November 29 2004, 5:01 pm

Ok, I just bought this new jacket..it's polyester..and everytime I wear it, it leaves lint all over my shirt (or whatever I'm wearing underneath it.) Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks!! I'll give 5's for every answer!! ;-)

Oh I hate it when that happens! You take the damn thing off and all you see is LINT! Wash the jacket in cold water and put it in the dryer on low heat. If you're dryer has a no heat setting that works even better. Hope this helped!

Lol, I've had that problem so many times before! I've never found a way to prevent it, but I do know they now sell these tiny little roller thingys that can take it off. They're small, too. Sorry if I didn't help! Good luck!

try washing it before you wear it. usually with new sweaters/jackets you need to wash them a few times to get all the loose stuff out!
