but see ally, the funny thing is, i dont have a problem saying the N word or refering to anyone of a different race then i am by a mean and harmful term. i even tell jokes all the time

Well jokes are fine, you just have to be careful...and make sure people know that your just kidding. If its all in good fun then I'm sure people wont get hurt. More so if they seem to be upset by it, then applogize and tell them that you wont do it again. No harm. No foul.
