ok. there's this 7th grader at my school (i'm in 8th) and i like him. my bff's boyfriend is friends with this guy(this guys name is zach). i had a dream about zach and bff(gina) tells her boyfriend(brandon). so after school today, this kid is like all like trying to get gina to bring me over to him. we flirted at the beginning of the year and i like him. what do i say to him and do you think it's wrong for an 8th grader to go out with a 7th grader? thx for the help! oh yeah, i really really like this kid
Jillybean answered Wednesday November 24 2004, 9:45 am: Well, if you really, really like this guy, then please ask him out! It's not weird, and he'll probably be thrilled to go out with an 8th grader!
PerkyPeacock answered Wednesday November 24 2004, 1:45 am: don't worry about the grade difference. it doesn't matter, all that matters is that you're happy. it might be different if you were in 8th trying to date a 5th grader, but you're not. it's perfectly normal, so do what makes you happy. I won't tell you that "ten years from now, the one year won't make a difference" BS, because I realize you probably aren't going to end up with the guy you date in the 8th grade...but I suppose it's true. Yeah, if you like him, go for it! [ theblondeone989's advice column | Ask theblondeone989 A Question ]
