Question Posted Saturday November 20 2004, 11:02 pm
I want to know how to handle the following problem. I have a friend and she likes one of my guy friends, but my guy friend told me that he hates her as a girlfriend but likes her as a friend even if she is annoying sometimes. Well, I don't know whether i should tell my friend or just keep it a secret. My friend thinks that my guy friend likes me, but I don't think he does. She thinks another guy likes me also, but I doubt that too. She thinks I'm leading him on because she says I flirt with him, but I don't like him and that I'm sending him the wrong signals. What should I do? Should I tell my friend that my guy friend doesn't like her or should I keep it a secret? And how do I found out if these guys like me or not?

However, there's a line to be crossed. If you flirt too much, you might be sending the guy wrong signals. Give your friend subtle hints that your guy friend doesn't like her. Suggest that she might find someone else to like. As to finding out whether these guys like you, there's nothing you can really do except asking them straight out, which is sometimes a bad option. Try reading their faces when they talk to you. Sometimes, its easy to tell if a guy likes you. But, dont jump to conclusions. [ jenack310's advice column | Ask jenack310 A Question ]
