okay .. well i reall like this kid .. but he doesn't know - we just met this year b.c we sit next to each other and we started tlking in class and stuff and he flirts i guess .. and he's always like r u going to the homecoming dance friday? and he's always bringing it up and i jst say i dunno .. y .. and he's jst like oh .. well i dont know if he's trying to ask me if he wants to go and like just can't do it - i really like him .. but i don' wanna simply b like do u like me? b.c i usually do but this is diff - and none of my friends kno him b.c he's a yr older and only one friend does but like he's a guy and ould be stupid about it if i asked him to ask him .. so like i need help on how to try and find out if he likes me and wants to go to homecoming

The next time he says are you going to the Homecoming dance say, "Well I'd like to, but no one has asked yet. & I am an old-fashioned kinda girl. I expect the boy to ask."
This is just a statement, if he wants to ask he now knows that you won't do the asking and it is up to him.
If he doesn't want to ask, you didn't say anything specifically to him to imply that you want to go with him.
But to make your statement a little clearer, smile at him when you say it. Be kind and give him a hint that you wouldn't say no if he asked.
