Help?
I've been debating on whether or not I should ask advice about this, but I'll give it a shot and see what you have to say. My friend dates this guy in college, he has a butt load of hott friends. I'm 16, and they are all 17 - 20something. Well my friend has been telling me that she wants to hook me up with one of them. I met this guy, call him "bert", and I do like him. Problem is, I'm way to shy to even talk to him. I don't know much about him besides that he doesn't have a gf. I do know he is the type of guy that I would date. When I met him the other day, my friend told me he thought I was adorable because I don't talk. She does have a habit of lying to us, her friends. I'd like to get to know him next time I go with my friend to visit her boyfriend, but then theres the shyness. I dunno what to do. My friend "Alice" said she would email my friends boyfriend since they talk and ask about "bert" see what he's about. But is there anyway you could help me out? This probably sounds dumb. I'd kinda like to have a boyfriend, my last one was in May. But I hope I made sense. I'm gonna end this now.

shyness is a very common thing. you need to breathe and relax and just be like hey whats up that always gets a conversation started and after that juat ask a few simple questions to help you get to know him and he will probably ask you some questions too. this will help alot. if you need anymore help just let me know.
