well i resently started hanging out with this new girl out school who is really popular and shes so sweet and nice and i still hang out with my best friends but they are mad because im hanging out with her because shes so popular and they dont like popular people, and its so hard because I like both of my friends but my new friends actually listens to me and doesnt put me down...what should I do?

well this kinda happened to me when i was in the 5th grade, first of all you need to let your friends know hey people are all the same and just because they are popular doesnt mean they are bad people, and tell them that they dont listen to you and you want a faithful friend whos always going to be there for you and not to run over you, and if they are mad because you are making friends and they dont like it, then they arent really your greatest friends like u or they make out to be....just talk to them about it and if they seem not to care then that should tell you right there they arent going to be great friends, u need to choose the ones who care and need u and want to listen to you, or later on down the road u wont have anyone and it'll hurt even worse then.
