met this guy this year and became friends with him. One of my other friends acts like she likes him, and I've asked her, and she said no. She still acts like it though, and I know for a fact he liked her at the beginning of the year and probably more than likely does still. He sometimes flirts with me but I'm not sure if thas just him being a guy. Anyway, I don't usually tell anyone when I like a guy because 1) I don't trust people because I'm nice and people used that to their advantage and 2) I don't think I'm pretty enough or good enough for them or whatever (even though I've been told I'm really pretty, I have LIttle or no self confidence) any way, I wish there was some way to find out if he liked me without having to ask him. I'm also afraid if i ask him, and he says no, it will ruin our friendship. I hear "you only live life once" and try to apply that to this, but its hard. If you could help me that would be great.

Kori15 answered Saturday November 6 2004, 12:52 am: Well, there is a likely chance that your friend doesn't even like him. I have friends that are just like that, It's just that she is a big flirt. When someone is a flirt, people may think that they like that person, but they are just flirting, which some girls do very often. So, are you trying to say that you like him and are afraid that your friend and him like each other? Well, don't do any of that, "Oh I'll tell my friend to ask him" junk, because that never works, they always know. Think about this, Do you really need to know, If he likes you, don't you think that time will run it's course and destiny will show? If you don't think that, there is probably no other way, but to ask him who he likes, don't be nervous. I think you just have to work a little on your self-confidence. Ok? I hope you get through this. Plus, I hope I helped!
