Question Posted Tuesday November 2 2004, 8:06 pm

I'm in the same situation as the girl who asked the first question. But, I don't sit near the guy i like, all i can do is "admire from a distance" so to speak. And in the afterschool activity that we're both in, some people know that i like him. Apparently it's obvious to everyone but the guy. So it's kind of hard for me to not look all desperate to those people and still be near the guy and talk to him. I usually don't care about what people think but...I also don't want it to be obvious. Any ideas on how to strike up a conversation from across the room? Or even on how to walk up and start a conversation without getting one of those infamous "What are you doing?" looks that guys sometimes give? Thnks

Here's what you can do... You can flirt with him (somewhat) after school in your activity thingy. Then you can play hard to get ;-) So it leaves him wanting more. And it will make him more interested. Most guys like mysteries girls, leaves 'em hangin. Plus playing hard to get will make it less obvious that you like him to everyone else. Hehe, good luck!
