Hey! IDK how to explain this so i will do the best i can! Well, you know how when you IM somebody, that sometimes, on the bottom or middle of the screen, it says for example 'xxprincess11 is typing'... (im just using an example screenname) and so I want to know how you get that on you computer? Cause I sometimes get that, but only when I am IMing certain sn's! please help and i hope this isnt confusing... Thanks!

Well like you can only see someone is typing if they have that on their prefrences... i think lol. but if they dont you cant tell if they are or not! hope i helped!

It is a setting feature. Some people choose not to have it. They must have it set for that to be visable. If they dont have it as a setting to use then you cant do anything about it.

ok...i know exactly what ur talking about..cause i have it on my computer..and..i didnt used to have it..until i uploaded a new version of aim..so you should try and get the newest version...go to www.aim.com and it should come right hope...

There is a seeting that you would need to select in order for this to happen. But from what I understand of your situation, such is the case because some people choose to select this option ( Found under the Peferences, IM Tab) If the user you are chatting with doesn't have this selected then you will noty be able to see when they are typing a message. People can see you are typing so long as you have this feauture active. Also, when you directly connect with a buddy, you can automatically (even if noone's boxes are checked) see who is typing when. Make sure you have it checked. I believe you go to My AIM, Peferences, Instant Message... try that! :)
