there was this guy that i liked alot and he asked me to our homecoming dance like 3 weeks ahead and it was going good until right b4 homecoming i realized i didnt really like him like that nemore and i just wanted to be friends but i didnt want to tell him until after so it wouldnt be awkward so at the dance i was trying to not lead him on but he took it as i was ditching him and now he like hates me and i've tried appologizing and i dont know what else to do and its always unconfortable for me if im near him what should i say or do?

Just tell him why you were acting weird-you didnt like him as much but you guys can still be friends. If he doesnt want to be friends, well then oh well you have other people you can be friends with.
