Ok well everyones always asking questions on how to lose weight and everything but what about us peole that need to gain weight?? NOthing works and i eat alot- done the shakes and everything and i play basketball and volleyball. IM not too underweight but i could gain about 5-10 pounds. Im 5"6 and weigh 102. So any suggestions?? do you think that this is a stage where my metabolism is just really fast and will slow down eventually and ill gain weight or what?

Try to eat things with lots of carbs! Drink shakes that have a lot of milk and carbs in it! Don't worry about it! Your metabolism is just a little bit too fast and it'll slow down eventually! I had the same problem as you and I was underweight by 20 something pounds and I just ate a lot of carbs and I'm still underweight lol! Hope I helped :)

yea i usta have that prob too.Shake def help. n e thing wit fat n it, like butterr, whole milk,peanutbutter..i don't think that ur metabolism will change over time, it mite but u can ask a doctor if they have specific ways that u can gain weight.

Oh my goodness you DO NOT need to lose weight. You are under weight by so much. If you are 5"6 then you should be around 120 or 125. about 5 pounds per inch because if someone is 100 lbs then they are supposed 5ft. Don't stress. Eat all you want.

Hi Sweetie,
Well first of all even if you're thin you should always be careful what you eat. Some people are "naturally thin" but the calories and stuff... they sitll affect you. Second of all (you probably hear this a lot so sorry for repeating it once more) its a good thing. Feel lucky! Many girls do stupid things to be thin.
Obviously weigh doesn't matter IF YOU'RE HEALTHY AND FEEL HAPPY ABOUT YOURSELF. If you're eatting ENOUGH (not too little, not too much) you really should not worry about the rest.
You are athletic so that can be why you're thin. You're metabolism is already fast. Like I said some people are naturally that way.
However if you still NOT comftrable with yourself or worried maybe you should talk to adoctor and ask if you're weigh is a problem and what solutions there are.
