Hey.. well me and my friend have been friends for about 8 years now and shes the best thing i have in my life right now! and this year we started high school and its soo different not being with her all the time and we are making new friends but i dont want our friendship to get ruined. we r still really close but not like before : we dont talk or hang out as much and i dont want our friendship to all just go down the drain! i used to be able 2 tell her anything and everything but now things seem weird around us and i dont feel that i can tell her everything like before. Should i tell her how i feel or should i just let the whole thing play out? please help!!

Lesliie answered Sunday October 3 2004, 3:30 pm: Wow i am going through the same thing. High school is really hard on everybody, especially friends who don't go to the same school. It's very hectic and its hard to find time for old frends. Yes I think that if you want the friendship to truly go back to how it was, i would tell her how u feel, definitely. I mean there's a chance of you all becomming the frends you used to be then why not take a shot at it, and if it doesn't work out, try hangin out more on winter vacation or summer vacation. You might have lost a little bit of the friendship, but wouldn't you rather it be losing a little bit of the friendship over losin the whole thing? Good luck!
