two friends

I have two friedns who are fighting. My friend Maddy hit my friend Katie in school. They aren't friends anymore. I dont want to be on sides, but i feel like i have to. Maddy says," I hate Katie." And i hear Katie say, "I hate Maddie." What should I do? I dont want to have to chose sides.

Well if you don't want to choose sides then i am not going to make you! That is your decision and you can if you want but you don't have to. And maddie shouldn't have to have you choose either and if she makes you then she really isn't your friend at all!
