Is it me orrrrrr...???

Question Posted Friday October 1 2004, 1:26 am

Okay you see my friend "Helen" and I were talking about my other friend "Hannah". When we brought up my other friend "Jake", Helen told me that Hannah told her that I was mad at Hannah because she changed Jake and that I was mad at her for taking him away from me. Thing is, I never said anything like that or relating to that or anything to Hannah. I don't feel like Jake was taken away from me because he was never mine in the first place. I don't know where she got that idea and why she said it but it hurt to find out she was saying things like that about me. I wanted to talk to Hannah about it but Helen told me not to because Hannah would yell at her for spilling the beans to me (Helen was the only one who was supposed to know). Hannah is not a bully or anything but she can get annoying especially when she's mad at you and Helen didn't want Hannah to be mad at her because they go to the same school and they share the same locker and everything so it would just be awful. So my question is how can I talk to Hannah about it AND keep Helen's name clear?

You can't. Either you confront Hannah and get Helen in trouble. Or you don't confront Hannah and live with the not knowing why she is sayingthese things. Now if you had some kind of proof that Hannah was saying this to other people, then you could confront her about it. Until then either live with it or get Hannah mad at Helen.
