leslie,
i heard about your advice column and i really need some help.see, my boyfriend and i were best friends while we were going out and then he found out that he had to move. When we broke up we were still good friends but after awhile he started acting weird like he wouldn't return my calls and stuff like that and then one day he told me that i ruined our friendship and that we would never be able to be friends again. ihave tried to ask him what i did to ruin our friendship but he won't tell me. what should i do because i really love this guy and i miss him. should i keep askinghim what i did? or should i just ignore it?
a friend in depression

Lesliie answered Thursday September 30 2004, 6:08 pm: Well, it seems to me that it's not you that did something wrong. Maybe that's his way of showing that he needs you ni his life still and he wants to see how long you stick with him until you "ignore it"...Or maybe you did do something, but if you did then he should be a good best friend and stop you from worrying and forget it because people make mistakes every single day whether they mean to or know it or not. If he means that much to you, i would stick with him a little bit longer, but if it starts getting out of hand and he still hasn't budged, i would just drop it because what else is there to do you know? i hope everything works out!! if not, write back and i'll keep giving you advice!!
