wait im confused about birth control. someone said that it regulates your period so you know when it's coming. but how does that protect you from not getting pregnant? when you're on birth control, does that mean that you WON'T get pregnant if you have unprotected sex at any time? thanks.
XoAlexandra answered Wednesday September 22 2004, 7:47 pm: you still have a chance of getting pregnant, theres always a chance. but the guy should ALWAYS wear a condom even if your on the pill, because theres always a chance of getting STD's and you dont want that. but birth control does regulate your period and in some cases it will make your boobs grow :)) hope i helped
behindxthesexeyes answered Wednesday September 22 2004, 7:32 pm: It doesn't mean that you are 100% protected from getting pregnant, but it does decrease the chance. It's 98% effective, so I would recommened using a condom also....un-protected sex with or without birth control is very risky and dangerous...my cousin concieved when she was on the pill.
