Trouble..

Question Posted Wednesday September 22 2004, 5:17 pm

I have this friend that I just started becoming best friends with last year. We used to talk on the phone all the time and talk everytime we saw each other but then this guy that she likes asked her out. Now whenever I see her, she doesnt stop to talk because shes always with him. Or like whenever its the three of us, Im just sitting there wishing I was somewhere else. I dont know what to do because they're cute together and I want her to be happy but I feel like we're losing touch fast.

:Need help quick:

The first thing you should do is talk to her about it. Let her know how you feel and that its hurting you the way shes acting. Dont be afraid to speak up. If you do tell her, it could make her realize that she is wrong for ignoring you just because hes there and make her change the way she is. Im kind of in this situation right now, except im the girl with the boyfriend. I know i dont spend all my time with my friends like i used to but its hard trying to make time for both. Especially if the boy and girl really like being around each other. Friends should always come before guys no matter what. Try to make a plan with her about when to spend time with you and when to be with her boyfriend. You dont want to have to make her choose between her best friend and her boyfriend because that wouldnt be right. I know you dont like feeling left out and if i were you i would say something to her about it. Dont lose your friendship just because of a guy. Its totally not worth it. Good Luck!
