Approaching a guy

Question Posted Sunday September 19 2004, 7:46 pm

There's this guy that I like, and he's really nice and funny and he makes me laugh and it always cheers me up to talk to him. Plus he's got blue eyes, and I just love blue eyes. I want to tell him how I feel, but I don't want to mess up my friendship with him, cuz he's a really fun guy to hang out with. How can I make sure that it won't get awkward?

Hm, I'm in a situation much like the one you're in. I say talk to him before you tell him. Make him promise that no matter what happens, or what you have to say to him, nothing will ever break your friendship. Then tell him. Unless, of course, he doesn't promise to still be friends after you tell him. Then it doesn't seem worth it. But most likely, he'll say that he does still wanna be friends, so it should work.
