A yeast infection is a disease characterized by itching and irritation of the vagina, vulva, or other mucous membranes, with a yeasty-smelling discharge; also called candidiasis. A yeast infection is when something bothers your vigina and it starts to get irritated and you start to notice thick cottage cheese like stuff down there.. not very attractive but thats the basics.

you smell like.. kinda fishy.. and you get a white discharge from your vagina... if you dont get it taken care of you can have some problems in the furture.. sometimes they clear up on there own, but you should really go see a doc.
