ok...well i have this kinda thing for piercings, i have my ears pierced of course, my belly button, my nose...well i took that out and i did have my eyebrow! well i really really want my tongue pierced! my mom wont let me get well 1 because im too young and also my brother had his done and it really messed up his teeth but anywayz i was just wondering if you knew how i should do it or w/e alrighty thanx!!

Well, I'd think about it before you do it - think about if it might interfere with things like eating, kissing, talking, etcetera. You also probably don't want an infection in your tongue.
If you really want to do it, I'd really suggest not trying to do it yourself. Wait a little bit until you're eighteen and then you can get however many piercings you want.

hey. i have my ears and my belly and i want my nose and my eyebrow done too. but ive ALWAYS wanted my tounge pierced, but my boyfriend hates them because he said that he knows what goes through every guys mind when they see a girl with their tounge pierced. he says that they think they are a dick sucker and a slut. he said he would get really pissed off at me if i did it. i told him that i wouldnt get one because he didnt want me too, but its all up to you, whether you get yours done or not. if it will make your mom mad, i would try to talk to her about it first. and then if she still dont want you too, then i dont know what to tell ya..lol..just make your own decision! good luck! I don't think you should attempt to try to pierce your tongue yourself! I heard that if you don't pierce it in the exact spot - you could damage a bunch of nerves in your tongue! =(
You should wait until you get approval from you mother. If she won't let you - give her reasons to why you think you should get your tongue pierced!

Ok just for starters how old are you? if you are under 16 it might not be a great idea...your at the age of getting a job and most people find tongue piercings to be "trashy"...or whatever...
plus I know of several cases of what you never hear for example:
1. my brother broke a tooth
2. my friend broke her front tooth
3. I saw a show on tv about this gurl that did it herself and she has HALF a tongue now...gross!
and 4. they had a story in our local paper about a boy who got his tongue pierced and a couple monthes later while sleeping it came undone and he choked to death on it!!! OMG!!! right hhaa!

Well if your mom lets you get it done make sure you do some research and find the best place to get it done. My cousin got her tongue pierced and the guy put the bar in crooked and it gave her tongue an infection and now she has this big white-ish yellow dot on her tongue from the infection and it won't go away and it's been out for about 4 years. It also does mess up your teeth because a friend of mine has it done. most people get their tongue pierced for sexual satisfaction... for a girl if you're giving a guy a blow job the cold of the metal ball is supposed to make it feel better... that's normally the whole point to getting a tongue piercing. but if you want it done you have to be aware of those things that can happen. hope i helped

umm , i really dont think it would be a good idea... yeahh it would be cool for you to have a tongue ring but would it be that cool if your teeth were all gross and twisted up?? Plus your mom was nice enuff to let you get all the other stuff, i guess you can keep on asking her but you definetly shouldnt go behind her back.
