OOOH SHEEEEEPEY!!!!!

Question Posted Wednesday September 15 2004, 3:53 pm

hey its me again. Love-Them-Not. Youll probably remember me as the daisy hater, right? well i confronted my friend about her flower power obsession. and trust me, she's moved on. ohh but not to better things. her new passion is sheep!!! especially ones from sweden. she'll wear sheepskin ponchos and ugg sheepy boots to school and even sheep trousers. her shirts say things like 'I LOVE EWE' on them. She recently got another live sheep last month.. that will be the 4th one living in her bathroom. she recently dyed her hair a platnium blonde almost white and got it highly permed... now she even looks like a sheep! i think my friend is STILL clearly insane. how can i let her know i hate smelling like sheep all the time? i dont want to hurt her feelings or make her temporarily crazed... she might hurt the sheep in her bathroom! whats wrong with her.. and why has she all of a sudden gone from daisies to sheep? :(

hey Love-Them-Not-
Yes i do remember you- the "daisy hater"! ;) I'm glad your friend has moved on from daisies! But the sheep sounds like it's going to be the same passion all over again! Either try my old advice on this again, or let her go with her current love- at some point she'll either move on and find something else, or make her obsessive hobby into a grand carrer/invention idea. Who knows? this could bring her good... or possibly worse outcomes...? she has all of a sudden gone from daisies to sheep most likely because your friend likes to focus on one topic and go with it all the way.. and in her case... ALL the way. It sounds like you have stuck with her through all these crazy phases, and still have maintained a generous relationship! So my advice is the same as before, just keep your support for her and talk to her without getting too upset. Good luck to ewe =] -ask_anything
