hi ! okay well im in 6th grade and i really want to wear thongs! because i hang out with older girls and they wear them and i feel left out ! some please give me so lines to say to my grandma ( i live with my grandparents ) !!! THANKS!
liddylflirtx3 answered Wednesday September 1 2004, 8:12 pm: Tell your grandma that you really don't want your panty-lines showing, or that you think that thongs would be a lot more comfortable. If your grandma is unsure about you wearing them, make sure you tell her that you're not going to be like those sluts that on-purpose have their thongs hang out! =( [ liddylflirtx3's advice column | Ask liddylflirtx3 A Question ]

SheaStadium answered Wednesday September 1 2004, 5:22 pm: First of all, thongs suck. They are really uncomfortable and unless u need to where them, i wudnt. But heres what u can say neways. Tell ur grandma that u feel u r mature enough and that u just want to try it out. Tell her that u wont get a sexy one, but that at first ull get a regula one. Tell her that u want to wear them. What ever u do dont mention that u want to wear them becu the ppl u hang out w/ do. If she says no, dont show her that ur mad. Just say okay, just thought id ask then walk away or change subjects. If she dus say no do extra work around the house and stuff show her that u r responsible. [ SheaStadium's advice column | Ask SheaStadium A Question ]
princs answered Wednesday September 1 2004, 5:17 pm: I suggest to not wear a thong. There not really that safe. Women who wear thongs have a higher risk of yeast infections and chafing.
There sooo unsanitary and can be uncomfortable.
If you really wanna wear a thong dont wear it all the time. Only wear it when your wearing tight pants and you dont want panty lines. And DONT wear a thong to bed.
If you really want one just go to the mall and buy it yourself.
Hope I helped :)

Ghettotissuebox answered Wednesday September 1 2004, 5:01 pm: Ok, just because your friends are wearing them does not mean you have to! I think you undergarments are your buisness and not anyone elses. It doesn't matter what kind of underwear you have... If they are mean because of that, then they have problems. If you really want one, just when your at the store with your mom and you pass the underwear section, just mention, i wanna try out this underwear.
Hope this helps
