Question Posted Wednesday September 1 2004, 11:50 am

Dear advice person,
I have a problem. I have no money and I have to buy my mom a birthday present. My little sister Ameila-Jo got my mom a very pretty bracelet. So now i really have to get her something or I'll look dumb since Im 11 and shes only 9. I spent my money on a doll for my self and now I feel bad that I cant afford a gift for my mom. Please help me.
Sara-Mae

I really dont think your mom is gonna mind thta u didnt get her a present-but if it means alot to you that u get her something-why dont u make her a present instead of buying her something with money u dont have.It would probably be more meainful to her then a store bought gift.
