cell phones
ok heres the deal..i really want a cell phone! and i would use it and everything! i am always going to movies..the mall..and football and basketball games that i have to cheer at! and yet my parents still wont get me a cell phone! my sister has one and got one when she was about 14 and i am only 13..but how do i convince them to get me a cell phone?

Convince them that your responsible enough and prove to them that you can be responsible. Tell them youll take care of it and if you dont that they can take it away! also maybe ask if yah make good grades if yah could get a phone. Just lil things like that!

i got 1 on my 12th birthday ! (my gram buys me what i want) xplain to them that u will use it when u really need it (i got in BIG trouble w/ mine, i was on it for hours w/ my b/f, and it had aim....) but dont use it wen u r calling ur frinds for just to talk..it wastes minutes

Tell them that you need it since you're all over the place and you need to stay in touch with friends. Also remind them it can come in handy if something happens and you aren't around a phone, or so they can stay in touch with you when you're out somewhere. I don't know if these will work because I got my first when when I was 12 and I didn't really have to convince my parents. But I hope they will work!

Hey.. idk wht u can do srrry! i got mine because my parents always wanted to know where i was gonna be and they wanted to make sure i was okay..maybe u could be like "well im always out and if im gonna go somewhere and no one has a phone how am i gonna tell u where im gonna be?" lol idk sryyyy..xox-crystal

well... when i was 13 i also had a cell phone. it wasnt that hard to convince my parents, i just told them it was the only way they could keep up with me! i was always on the run going somewhere or doing something and my parents never knew where i was... they figured that way they could always know where i was at!! good luck!

well give them the silent treatment. and if that doesnt work tell them you arent gonna eat until they get you one. and if you give into that, keep messing around that they are getting you one, that your convinced that they said they would. these techniques sound a little immature but so what? it werks!! hope i helped!!

before you whine and beg them for one, sit down and write out all the reasons why you would need one. u already have reasons up there, like movies and cheering, so tell ur parents that it would really help if you could call them when ur running late or something. also, if you have extra money you could offer to put forth some of ur money towards it or you could offer to do a certain chore every week to help pay for one. one more thing that would work: if ur parents are always nagging u about some chore or to get ur hw done or whatever!! just do it for a week, then ask them. it totally helps to be really good for at least a couple days and when u ask be really calm and have it thought through cuz then they'll be more likely to treat you like an adult.
(ps-if they say no, ask them for their reasons why and sound interested, ask what you can do to change their minds)
