internet card problems!
Okay well I have a dell lap top that i got for my bday. my mom and her b/f have been fighting really bad for the past months and we might be moving soon. now when we move hes gonna try and take the lap top but they both bought it for me for my bday. so he might take the chip for the internet thinking if he takes the chip then i wont want the whole darn laptop. but my questiong is even if he takes the internet card to my dell laptop is there any possible way of me ever getting the internet back on this lap top or was it just in that card? because i dont have any cords besides the charger.

Well, I'm not to great with lap-tops but I think the chip you are talking about is a wierless modem maybe. It should be possible for you to buy another modem [codless or otherwise]. I suggest you go back to your dealer or go to the dell support website [[Link](Mouse over link to see full location)] and ask there.
