what to do.....
i like this guy, but he lives kinda far away, and i promised my ex boyfriend that i wouldn't date any of his good friends, but this guy is his good friend and they knew eachother alot and then my ex boyfriend moved here, and the guy i likesmokes pot...only sometimes, but i don't really like that part, and i dunno what i should do...please help!!thanks!

Not to sound awful, but are you just TRYING to complain? I mean...you like a guy who you can't have because you like someoen else who doesn't want you to like him and you don't want him sorta because he does drugs? Come on, if this is real, either go out with him or don't. It's your choice. People who don't know you or the situation well enough (like your ex and how close you guys are) can't really judge...

First of all, I believe you should keep your promise unless your ex has mean intentions. He might even be trying to protect you from this guy considering he smokes pot. I wouldn't associate myself with anyone who does drugs. They might try to pressure you into doing it as well (not always though) I would however try and get him some help. Maybe even refer him to this site if he would listen. I know that it might be hard to not act on feelings some times but depending on th situation it might be better than something you can't undo. Drugs destroy you. Hope this helps. :)

You should give it a try with this guy you are talking about! but if he tries to pressure you into doing anything you don't want to do then leave him...you never know...this guy may be the guy you were looking for BUT he may not be so choose yuor actions wisely
