i like this guy, but he lives kinda far away, and i promised my ex boyfriend that i wouldn't date any of his good friends, but this guy is his good friend and they knew eachother alot and then my ex boyfriend moved here, and the guy i likesmokes pot...only sometimes, but i don't really like that part, and i dunno what i should do...please help!!thanks!

He might even be trying to protect you from this guy considering he smokes pot. I wouldn't associate myself with anyone who does drugs. They might try to pressure you into doing it as well (not always though) I would however try and get him some help. Maybe even refer him to this site if he would listen. I know that it might be hard to not act on feelings some times but depending on th situation it might be better than something you can't undo. Drugs destroy you.
