~Well, just letting you know the max. amount of weight you should lose in one week should not exceed 4 pounds or it will be unhealthy.~
~I know this stuff because my parents are health freaks but I'm not. I do it my own way and it works well.~
~Okay, for the exercises. For your arms while you watch tv or something that doesn't use arms much you could start just grabbing weights or if you don't have them just books or something alittle weighted. Start light(no more than a couple pounds) and do some curls. You can also hold them down to your sides and lift straight up to sholder level and put them back down. Do this as many times as you can until you feel it burning. After you get used to that you can get heavier weights or objects. Also in the arms you can do girl push-ups. I can't do regular ones yet but Im working on it. A girl push -up is like a regular one ut instead of having your whole body off the floor you cross your legs at the knees and have from your knees up off the ground. It is much easier. Now for your hips, butt, thighs, and such. There are many diffrent things to do for them but my number one would be walking. Now to get the effect you want you will want to walk fast. Power walk if you will. Don't push yourself too far but make sure that your heart beat rises and you can feel it. For the first few weeks after walking your legs may feel stiff and hurt alittle but that's just because they aren't used to it. Also for the legs are leg lifts. You lay on your side and you kick up. You don't have to kick far but it is a good strech too. Do it slowly to feel the effects. You then kick forward and back ward but make sure your hand if in front of you to hold your top from moving all over the place.(While laying on your side) That can become a problem. Now a couple for you tummy are crunches. You probably know what they are but just in case. Get in the sit-up position but when you go up you pull your tummy in with the muscle that is slightly above your belly button and don't go up all the way just enough to get your head and sholders up and feel your tummy muscles working. A hard one for that is to lay on your back and hold on to something sturdy reaching directly above the top of your head...not your face. Lift your legs either one at a time or together up as straight as they go. My hamstrings are tight and yours probably are too so I doubt you an but it straight up and not have your knee bent. Don't feel bad, I can't either. Lower your legs as far as you can until it is hard to and then lift them back up straight slowly. You will feel that one fast and probably can't to it much. I have been doing them for weeks and still can't do it more than 10 times. Last thing....If you like to dance and jump around. Turn on some upbeat music and do so. Sooner or later you will get tired and start sweating. That means you are burning calories.~
~Food! The best way to do this is to just watch. Set your mind on it and tell your family to help. Tell them to tell you when you are eating alittle bit much and don't be offended when they say you are. It will happen. You can also count the calories or everything you eat. Make sure you go by the serving size. So if you eat two serviings count the them twice. A healthy diet consists of 1500 calories. You would be surprised how fast that goes. It's hard to do but if you are serious aout it then it will work. Last way, you can take what you usually eat and cut it in half. Get your dinner plate and put what you would usually eat on it. Then cut it in half and put half back. It works well but do NOT go back for more food. Throw away the left overs or just put them away. A good way is to put them directly in the fridge so by the time you get them out to microwave you can catch yourself and put it up.~
~Drinks! This can be a big factor in weight loss. If you drink alot of soda. That will have to stop. I used to and I only do now maybe a glass or two a week. It's hard but it has to happen. Don't drink alot of jucies and stuff if they are full of sugar. It is just like drinking soda. Concetrate on Orange juice, Milk, and most importantly WATER. Water is the best thing to drink. It has NO calories and it keeps you hydrated. I HATE water but I have to drink it. It's something else to deal with. Oh, and get fruits. If you are in between meals and there is a candy bar and a peach sitting next to each other fruit is always the better substitute.~
~Will you try and let me know how things go for you??? I would love to be a support and you could help me too. My AIM is kodysgirl1688 and my e-mail is gauleygurl_322132@hotmail.com please stay in touch. Good luck and if you need anything at all. I'm here!!~
