hey i'm 14 and live in florida my x n i just broke up a couple weeks ago and now i'm scared to be near him because his room is full of weapons and he was really pissed at me for breaking up w/him. and to top it off he will be at my friends house this weekend while i'm gonna be over. i really want to go because itz my friends b*day but i just dont no if i'm all that safe around him. should i just cancel and pretend that i'm sick or should i go and be worried through out the whole time i'm there. and my friend doent even no that were not going out so if i disappear she wont no where i'll be i'm just really scared plz help

Ok, well it is good that you broke up with him, since he has all those weapons in his room and has a bad temper. This weekend, Maybe you shouldn't go to your friends house, tell her the truth why you're not and have her come over the next day or you go over the next day to celebrate. If your afraid that he will find out why you wern't there during the party and come over on the day you two planned to hang, then you and your friend go to the mall or movies to celebrate. If he gets violent at school, makes threats, anything that make you uncomfortable, tell an adult ASAP. I hope everything works out.
