Homecomming drama! I am soo frustrated about homecomming. I never been to a dance<where you dress up> even though im gonna be a junior this year. Its not until mid october but I been trying on dresses today. EVERY dress I try on I feel so FAT! Its like you can see my rolls right through it! I cant go to homecomming feeling like a watermelon. Im 16 years old and im 5"4' and I weigh 115 pound. I dont know if thats normal but I makes me soo frustrated that I wanna cry. Maybe I can go on a diet for the next month and a half. I have to do something because my friends are making me go. Do you know any good diets Or do you think I should even go? Yeah, Maybe I should just "be sick" that day? Do you think im over reacting, if so what should I do becasue Im going crazy about my apperance <stomach and thighs mostly> Soory for all the complaining :(

I'm not a fan of dieting, unless its a healthy balanced normal diet. I really don't believe in any of the crazy diets that force you remove things, like fruit, or only eat fruit - weird diets like that.
I can suggest that if you want to feel healthier, get yourself into an exercise schedule that you make for yourself, go jogging, do crunches, play some sports, walk places. Everything active helps and it makes you feel so much better. On top of this, cut out junk food and greasy fatty foods. Get yourself a copy of the reccommended daily intake servings of the different food groups and make fruits, vegetables, dairy products and drink a lot of water. If you actually stick to this, you'll not only feel better about yourself but you'll also see a change in your body too.
As for a dress, don't feel like you can't go and don't make yourself feel horrible for the way you look. There is nothing wrong with you. Find a dress that you love and make sure that when you wear it - you feel amazing. When you find this dress, just be happy that you have a really nice dress and go to this dance and feel really good about yourself and have fun with your friends. If you spend all of your time worrying about what you look like in that dress, you'll miss all of the fun. ]
