You probably don't have the corect drivers for your sound card, or you don't have your speakers connected properly. There also might be some other fault with your sound settings. I suggest you vist the card manufatures website and look on there for the suggested sound settings/ drivers, and how to connect the speakers. If you can't find what you are looking for then submit a support question [most technical sites have them]

StiLLwiShinG_1217 answered Thursday August 12 2004, 4:57 pm: don't reformat ur computer, that's too technical when a problem like that can be easily fixed. First of all, check the plug for ur speakers and see if it's plugged in. Second, if that's done, check the sound icon on the bottom right side of ur screen to see if it's muted or not highered or wat not. Another thing to do is u can right click that icon and check to see that all the bars are up. Yet another thing is u can go to start menu, click settings, and go to control panel. From there, u can check ur sound options from sounds and audio devices. This advice is given with knowledge of windows XP, if u have any other type of "explorer" IM me or email or leave me a message. If the problem is still there, again, contact me and tell me more details if there are any. I'll try my best to help!
