i try to keep this under controll, but when my mom freaks on me i resort to taking it out on myself in ways that are sometimes harmful to me, how do i tell her to keep it undercontroll so i can keep myself healthy and safe, i really dont mean to hurt myself, but sometimes i just do

Whoa.. this isnt good! You should definately try talking to your mom.. tell her exactly what you said here. How her "freaking out" gets you really upset, sometimes to a point when you are harming yourself. Im sure your mother loves you dearly, and the last thing she wants is to hurt you. So you need to let her know so she can change her way of communication with you.
