i'm 5'2 and weigh 118 lbs. am i overweight. if so how can i lose weight? thanks

ShOrTnSwEeT42094 answered Saturday August 7 2004, 1:58 am: No,I don't think so at all.But the thing about it is,are you happy with yourself??If you feel like you would be more comfrotable in your own skin if you lost a few pounds,then I say go for it!But stay away from any crash diets or depriving yourself of food.The trick is to eat several small meals a day.Like,if you're on the go,in the afternoon or between meals,just grab a little snack,like a handful or grapes or strawberries or a cup of yougurt,or even some pretzels,whetever it is that you like!!!And for exercise you can always take walks and then work your way up to taking jogs around the block or something.It's also great to go to your local YMCA(at least for me,lol).There you have access to good things like the treadmill,stationary bike,and I even like SOME of the Nautalous(sp?) machines.Also,you can swim some laps or play a game of racketball,which is great for relieving tension and getting out any frustrations!Hehe!But like I said the most important thing is feeling happy and comfrotable in your own skin!!!Hope I was able to help you some!!! :) [ ShOrTnSwEeT42094's advice column | Ask ShOrTnSwEeT42094 A Question ]
