cOrna_x3 answered Thursday August 5 2004, 3:04 pm: hey.. yea it is true. But i dont know if it's harder to lose than regualr fat. Since your body has no food in it, it just takes all the water and tries to keep your stomach full so you don't die. Thats why when you see pictures of people that are starving, they sometimes have a big stomach. xOox <33 cOrna [ cOrna_x3's advice column | Ask cOrna_x3 A Question ]
queenbee answered Thursday August 5 2004, 2:57 pm: If you don't eat at all or eat sparingly then your body will think that you are starving and start to store fat making it harder to lose weight. Your body needs calories (good calories) to burn stored energy and expel it, if there is nothing in there to burn then your body will try to convert anything to stored fat to keep you from starving. After so long of not eating the body will begin to shut down major organs which is why people who starve themselves are at such a health risk. [ queenbee's advice column | Ask queenbee A Question ]
