ok....... i have a problem my parents want me to go to the same college as them when they were my age and to have the same job as them..a lawyer. they told me they want me to stay in the family business. my family owns a very expensive lawfirm. anyways it's not what i want. i wanted to become a pediatrician, but i'm afraid of wut my parents will think. they're the type that will shut you out of their life and not care. i'm so lost can you help?

Tell them how you feel, tell them being a lawyer is not your dream tell them you wanna be a pediatrician. But remember to tell them that you value them wanting you to be in the family business, but thats not what you want. just express how you feel about this but let them tell you their point of view too.
