Your Qualifications

Question Posted Monday July 5 2004, 9:23 pm

I was just wondering, since you are 17...probably in high school...what makes you so qualified to give advice? You haven't been to college, so how much experience could you have to give such insightful answers? Wisdom comes with age.

Technically, I'm no longer IN high school since I graduated this year. But qualifications? I don't think I really have any qualifications at all. I took a psychology/sociology course last semester... but I don't think that counts. I just base my answers on what I would do in that situation or try and plan what I know other people would do also. I don't doubt that my answers are no where near insightful, I could only describe my answers as my own opinion or my own thought process and the way I govern my own life, I just pawn it off as advice you see.
I think a lot of my experience with people is experience as an outsider, meaning, I don't usually do the interacting with others, I am usually the person watching the situation from the outside. This means I get every view and vantage point. The only way I can adequately answer this question in regards to how I answer other peoples questions is this - I don't so much have a lot of experience, but before I act on anything, I think it through a lot and the same goes for my answers for advice. I think about possible outcomes and the positives and negatives that might occur, and squish them all together into the best possible course of action according to what I think personally. And thats pretty much it.
