I never expected it
Yesterday I was outside helping my sister out when my brothers friend Jason was outside working on his truck. Im 17, hes 22. We always just play around and flirt back and forth, like he will make kissing faces in the air towards me and I will do it back. He even helped me with my science project. Well he called me over to where he was and the first thing he said is "when are you ever gonna go out with me, I wanna be with you?" My jaw like totaly dropped because I NEVER expected that. I told him that its not nice to mess around with my feelings like that and he swore up and down that he was being serious & that I could call my brother and ask him if they ever talked about me . My brother told me that they talk about me and that hes cool with us going out, but my brother always jokes around with me. When I walk by my brothers shop Jason always checks me out and whistles at me and stuff.
So my question is:
Do you think hes being serious? I mean IM really attracted to him.. Is he only in it for the ass? What do you think of the age diff?

There is a little bit of an age difference. If I was 22, I probably wouldn't date a girl who was 17. As for him being serious, I can almost guarantee that he is. Guys, at least guys I know, only flirt with girls they're into. As to whether or not he's just "in it for the ass", I can't tell without knowing him. I don't think he is though, your brother wouldn't let him date you if he was, right? If you're really attracted to him, give him a shot.
