if you ask someone their sign, you're asking what constellation they're birthday is assigned to, or horoscopes as it may be. if you look in the back of some magazines, you find a horoscopes page that lists a number of different signs.
Virgo: August 23-Septmber 22
Libra: September 23-October 22
Leo: July 23- August 22
Scorpio: October 23- November 21
Sagittarius: November 22- December 21
Each sign has a different animal... Sagintarius is a centuar with a bow and arrow.

when some one asks whats ur sign.. they want to know ur astrological sign thing, like say for instance, im a gemini..this "line" is also one of the cheesiest pick up lines out there. lol so unless this guy is abercromie cute just ignore him. lol

usually it means the astrological (spelling may be wrong) sign like your horoscope sign. people wanna know each other's sign sometimes to check like compatibility charts and everything. it all goes by when your birthday is. if you want to know your sign just type in horoscope on yahoo or google and it will help you!
