Well what if hes there sometimes like if hes gone all the time then comes back when i tell him that i miss him and hes never there no more. He hangs out with me for a while and takes me my kid out shoppin to dinner and stuff liek that then after a week or somthing of doing that hell go back to how he was. And hes always saying hes a bad father for never being there

It's time for him to grow up and be a father (full time)! If he can't make that comitment to you and your son then he doesn't deserve you. Don't wait around for this guy hoping he may change one day. If he really cared and wanted to be a part of you and your sons life, then he would be there. But he sounds to selfish give you and your son the time you deserve. It sounds like he has a lot of growing up to do.
