ok ive ben hiliting my hair for about a year now and i really just want to dye it but my mom wont let me till im 18 do u have any suggestions that she will let me dye my hair be4 im 18?! THANKS!!!

when my mom didnt let me do what i wanted to my hair i asked her "would you rather me go out and experiment with other things or my hair?" let's just say she will even let me shave my head now!

ask ya mum if you can get a non permanant hair dye to see wot it looks like if it looks gd she may let u dye ya hair

talk 2 her and ask her y she doesnt want u 2 get it done....but make sure u really want 2 and keep it up cuz u know once u get it done u have 2 keep doing it and if u dont it will become 2-toned and trust me i know cuz it happened 2 my hair and i wanted 2 taken out and i went back 2 my regular color cuz i didnt wanna deal with it anymore!!...so make sure u know u will keep it up!! :]

well you could tell your mom that if she trust you with highlights then a dye shouldn't be much different!! or you could ask for it for a holiday like b-day or xmas or sumthn!! but you should know if you dont already..once you dye ur hair..its not the same!! its makes your hair very rough and dry..and you dont want that!! lol. plus if it gets messed up its very hard to fix!! just remember your moms looking out for you!! x0x!

i've been in that situation before, first it was hilights then i wanted to die my hair. maybe you could show your mom that you have enough responsibility to have your hair colored because if you can take responsibility you can definiately take hair coloring.

Try to see if she'll let you dye your hair a color similiar to yours. Later on, if she lets you, she'll become a bit more sympathetic and let you dye it another color.

as long as your not dying it like bright pink or anything i dont see what the problem is just keep asking her from time to time eventually she'll give in
